PRELIMINARY PROJECTS
Data Analysis
First of all – find interesting data. You can use your dataset or pick one from an open data source – i.e. Kaggle. Then use whatever tools and methods to visualize the data and make predictions, or to optimize desired process. You can use one of these tools – Python, R, Matlab, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
Mobile Application Development
Our motto is Mobile first! We are constantly looking for fresh concepts in the context of beauty company selling direct! So, do you have an idea for a new mobile application? Are you driven to develop one? Or do you want to handle both of it? Go ahead and hit the road!
Cloud Architecture
Cloud deployment is the first choice in our IT strategy. We are curious about any aspect of this approach. All the existing platforms are bringing new concepts and features constantly. Do you want to show us something we have not seen yet? Because we are excited to consider your contribution as a potential addition to our technology portfolio.

Lucka and I were the youngest participants at the year (second year of bachelor studies), and we were very frightened but also motivated. For us, just a preliminary assignment was a big challenge, but we tried and then also succeeded. We did some visualisation in PowerBI and R software. When we had some problem, people were kind and gave us some helpful advice. After this internship, we realised that we can apply our knowledge from school to the real world but also that we cannot know everything from school.

Oriflame IT Academy was my first experience within IT world. It helps to understand whether IT sphere (which is very promising nowadays) is suitable for you and also gives the chance to touch different projects and technologies. After being an Oriflame IT Academy trainee, I got a part-time job in Orisoft for few months and I have to say, that this experience was crucial for finding future full-time job in Prague. Don’t be afraid, go for it, diploma is nothing without real work experience!
